Third pair of Turkish Slippers for me too! ^_^

Here are another recently finished pair of Turkish Slippers that I made for a pink-lovin' friend (I nearly forgot to post them here! ^_^). I tried out a little striping action this time using three colours - bright pink (main colour), medium pink, and a light pink. They worked out great, though I wish I could have ended in a bright pink stripe, but that's life. I planned it out, but they were just too short to add another row. Oh well. They look fine, anyway. I hope she likes them!

Molly, Missy - same difference! haha. Gotta love pink. Though I probably love red more... heheh.

Using two colours together produces some really cool results, I find, especially in knitting (it's like a tweed pattern). Since the Turkish slippers are crocheted with two strands, anyway, I thought I would try out some different things. I bet there are all sorts of cool effects you could do - like change one of the colours every so often instead of both (maybe I'll try that too! haha). It makes weaving in the ends a pain though...
